Supernova donated 100.000 kuna for renovation of hospital in Sisak

04. January 2021.

After several strong earthquakes that demolished houses in Sisak, Petrinja and the surrounding villages to the ground, Supernova Group donated 100.000 kuna for the renovation of the General Hospital in Sisak, the main health care institution in the Sisak-Moslavina County that also suffered considerable damage in the earthquake.

Beside the donation of 100.000 kuna for the renovation of the hospital, Supernova Group plans new donations to help the families of the affected area in the next months as well.

"The least that we as the Group could do was to donate money. For the beginning, we chose to assist the renovation of the hospital, that was damaged in a series of strong earthquakes, because it is the main health care institution of the whole county. Its quick renovation is exceptionally important. Also, we are aware that the reconstruction of the destroyed area will be long and that the inhabitants will need the assistance in the coming months as well, which is why we are also planning new ways in which we can help them", said Paul Merdzo, director of Supernova.

Both shopping centres of the Supernova Group in Sisak, Sisak East and Sisak West, have not suffered major damages. Part of the lessees are operating, while particular shops are currently closed due to renovation. The information about their opening will be published later.
